Stomach related Problems are very common in India and every second person in India faces some kind of stomach problems or disorders. I also come under the second category of people who have a weak digestive system . From childhood, I have been constantly suffering from various stomach related disorders from time to time. My liver is also weak; therefore, from time to time I face many stomach infections. During these years, I tried many digestive tonics, syrups and tablets. Answer to all questions is Yes, because Zandu Pancharista is a basic tonic to enhance digestive system, and it helps in all problems which are result of weak digestive system.
Though, its effectiveness may vary from person to person and depending on severity of problem.
To solve your problems, you are required to identify all reasons causing it and slowly remove them.

Constipation is very bad for Heart patients because it causes more stress on the heart and can aggravate heart problems. Therefore, it is important to treat this problem. Aloe-Vera juice can be a good option for your mother if it suits her because it is a natural laxative. Aloe to have beneficial effects in heart problems and diabetes. For gas problem she can try Zandu Pancharishta after meal.
Also advice her drink plenty of water every day and especially empty stomach. She should also eat food rich in cellulose like oats, vegetable, and salads etc.
Psyllium seed husks (Isabgol) with hot water can provide relief from constipation.
Cinnamon is anther house-hold item to get relief from stomach problems ( it is highly beneficial for diabetic patients and cleans bad cholesterol from the blood).

ReplyDeleteNo it is not OK to take Zandu Pancharista when you have no issue. Instead you should look for healthy alternatives and good diet. Life long use of any drug may cause some problems in long run. It is an Ayurvedic medicine, therefore, safer than other drugs. But this doesn't mean that you should start taking it without any cause.

ReplyDeleteSo far, I have not read any study which clearly says that Zandu Pancharishta is effecting in IBS. You may try it for sometime if it worked for you then you can continue otherwise do consult another doctor.

ReplyDeleteBest remedy is always control on food. Try to take as much as light food as you can take and avoid intake of oily, fried and non-veg food for sometime. Increase your physical activities like morning walk or exercise. You can try Amla Juice, Zandu Panchharishta and Aloe Vera if they suits you.
